Wine Bonacchi, “Casalino” Chianti Classico DOCG, 2019

Dry red wine “Casalino” Chianti is an assemblage of two grape varieties: Sangiovese and Canaiolo. Like any real Chianti, wine contains at least 80% of Sangiovese, which fills the drink with pleasant hints of strawberries and spices. Chianti vinification and aging are carried out in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Bottle design emphasizes the authenticity of the famous drink. The wine is packaged in a traditional straw basket – fiasco. In the 19th century, it was in such a package that the Italian peasants transported wine to their homes and shops the straw protected the bottles from damage and scratches.
