Sale! “Gauggiole” Rosso di Montalcino DOC – dry red wine made from Sangiovese grapes. For making wine, only the best berries are used, which are grown in the northeastern part of the Castiglion del Bosco estate at an altitude of 250 to 350 meters above sea level. The wine got its name in honor of a luxurious villa overlooking these vineyards. The soil of the vineyards is clayey, its northeast exposure saves the vines from the excessive exposure to sunlight that is typical for vineyards at low altitudes. Vinification of the drink takes place according to the traditional method of creating dry red wines. The wine first matures for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then 18 months in cement tanks, after which it is bottled and matures for 4 months in bottles.
