Wine Corte Aleardi, Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, 2020

Corte Aleardi, Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC is an exquisite drink that harmoniously combines notes of ripe berries and a subtle aroma of spices. This wine received the name Superiore, since its aging lasts at least 12 months, starting from January 1 after harvest, and the alcohol content at the time of consumption exceeds 12%. The grapes are grown in hilly areas, in the “Bure Alto” and “Montepala” areas. The harvest is collected from mid-September to mid-October. Vinification includes cleaning the fruit from stones and pressing, after which the must undergoes fermentation with maceration and careful squeezing to extract color and aroma. Aging is carried out throughout the year in barrels of Slavonian oak. The wine spends several more months in bottles after bottling. About 3,000 bottles are produced per year.
