Wine Foradori, “Fontanasanta”, Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, 2020

Wine “Fontanasanta” – a tribute to Professor Luigi Manzoni, headmaster of oenology in Conegliano, which in the 1930s as a result of breeding experiments of different grape varieties, created a variety Manzoni Bianco. The combination of noble varieties Pinot Blanc and Riesling made it possible to obtain a variety that can adapt to any climate and soil, and the wine produced from this grape, different harmonious combination of excellent acidity and flavor, mild flavor, interesting shades of mineral and floral nuances.
Manzoni Bianco, which grows on clay-limestone soils on the hills above Trento, matures in late September. Fermentation with a 7-day maceration takes place in cement tanks, followed by aging in barrels made of acacia for 12 months.
“Fontanasanta” – a wine that can evolve over time, it will start to appear in full in 2-3 years after the vintage. Excellent Italian white wine after half an hour in the glass, like a chameleon, will amaze you, changing hues and tones and showing the true expression of terroir grand.
