Wine Franz Haas, Pinot Nero, Alto Adige DOC, 2020

Pinot Nero – favorite brand of Franz Haas. His most difficult to tame, it is not always possible to make an elegant wild horse. Therefore wine from Pinot Noir “will never be the wine for everyone, only for those who live strong emotions.”
Vineyards from which the harvest for the production of Pinot Nero Schweizer, located on the slopes in Mazzone, Pinzano, Glenn and Montana, at an altitude of between 350 and 750 meters above sea level and have a south-western exposure. Soils are mainly porphyry, sand and clay-chalk. Dense planting of vines (8000 and 12000 plants per hectare) provides high quality grapes. The average yield is 35 hl / ha. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks open. The wine is placed in oak barriques, which matures for 12-15 months. Then Pinot Nero is bottled and aged for another year.
