Winemaking family Hera engaged representatives of seven generations, but family tradition had violated the Second World War. Attila Gere began working in forestry. Expanding the area of activity, Hera, the first in the region, opens tourist “Guest house” wanting to get acquainted with the production of wines in Villani. Following the main goal – to show the world the potential of red Hungarian wines – in 1992, together with the Austrian Franz Weninger enologist, Attila builds a new winery and fully modernize equipment. During this time, significantly expanded the vineyard area, which originally was only 8 hectares.
