Wine Glenelly, “Estate Reserve” Chardonnay, 2021

The “Estate Reserve” series is a premium wine range that currently features beautiful red blended wines from Bordeaux varieties and Chardonnay. These wines show good aging potential but are ready to drink as they are.

Glenelly, “Estate Reserve” Chardonnay is a dry white wine that exhibits a bright citrus aroma and lush taste with a creamy texture and mineral energy. The wine is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Simonsberg. The 2021 harvest was smaller than in previous years due to difficult weather conditions, but showed very high quality. The harvested grapes were pressed in whole bunches. The resulting juice, after a short settling, was poured into new and two-year-old 500-liter oak barrels for fermentation. After natural fermentation at various temperatures, the wine was aged on the lees for 11 months. The storage potential of wine is 6-8 years.
