Winery “Casanova di Neri” was founded in 1971 when Giovanni Neri bought a large estate in Montalcino, in an area famous for excellent conditions for growing grapes and creating great wines. The estate belonged to 35 hectares of vineyards. Gradually Giovanni Neri join him and other lands, so today the winery has a total of about 60 hectares, which are divided into four vineyard: “Petradoniche”, which is located in Castelnuovo del Abate, “Le Cetin” in Sant’Angelo in Colle, “Cherretalto” and “Fiesole” to the east, near the farm, in front of Montalcino.
