Wine Kanonkop, “Paul Sauer”, 2017

For wine Kanonkop, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from vines aged about 28 years with a yield of up to 5 t / ha. After harvest, the berries are fermented, which continues for five days at 28 C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, cement and oak barrels. Wine matures for 25 months in new French oak barrels and barrels of the second year of using a volume of 225 liters.

Kanonkop estate is located on the western hills of Simonsberg in Stellenbosch region. Today the winery owns a couple Joanne and Paul Krieg. Kanonkop is famous for its red wines.
