Wine Spada, “Firmus” Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, 2018

Wine “Firmus” is made from four grape varieties cultivated high on the hillsides of the Italian region of Veneto. To create this amazing, fragrant drink, only the best and mellow bunches are selected. The grapes are harvested slightly dried, only by hand, at the end of October. First, the crop is placed on open shelves, where it is dried until next February. Then the grapes are fermented in tanks made of steel. Firmus is aged in oak barrels for at least two years, after which it is bottled and stored for about six months before being released to the market.
