The grapes for “Terre More” is going from 55 hectares of vineyards, located at an altitude of 300 m. Above sea level, with a clay-limestone stony soils, south-western and southern exposure. The crop was harvested in September: Merlot and Syrah in the middle of the month, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc – at the end. Collection took place both manually and using mechanical means. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 28 C in steel containers for 12 days, followed by a 13-day maceration of the skin. After alcoholic fermentation was carried out malolactic fermentation. Aged in French oak barrels (2- and 3-year-olds) within 12 months of wine “Terre Sea” has an excellent tannin structure, providing him storage capacity of at least 8-12 years.

Wine is created in the family-owned winery Frescobaldi Tenuta del Ammiralya, which is located in the heart of Marremy. Once the estate was given to the Pope naval commanders, in gratitude for the successful battle with the Venetian fleet. But the name “La Capital” Frescobaldi was changed to “Ammiralya”, which translated from Italian means “flagship”, maintaining the marine theme, but giving the winery a more brilliant future. Built by the architect Piero Sarti winery is one of the best examples of the use of innovation and technology, with full respect for nature and the beautiful integration into the environment. Building the winery is located in a crack in the rock. Producing wine here reflect the unique characteristics of this hilly area, bathed in natural light, with sea breezes mitigating high summer temperatures.
For over 700 years Frescobaldi family is engaged in cultivation of grapes, their name is closely connected with the history of art, culture and commerce of Tuscany. Frescobaldi always successfully combines extensive experience with innovation. In the XIV century they delivered their wines of the British royal family, as well as the courts of many European stran. So second half of XX century Frescobaldi were the main participants in the development of Tuscan wine, one of the first planted grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot using new methods in the production of wine. At this time, there was a significant increase in the production of wine Frescobaldi family. In 1989 it was bought by the biggest economy in the region, Brunello, and in 1995 signed an agreement with a California winery joint venture in Tuscany for the production and distribution of Tuscan wines of the highest quality in the world market. But, despite the fact that for many years farming Marchesi de Frescobaldi has undergone many changes, it never changes hands, while remaining a family company. Frescobaldi have nine holdings located in the best areas of Tuscany, where are elite wines. Manufacture of wines made only from his grapes, exposure takes place in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats. Wine company Marchesi de Frescobaldi exported to more than 60 countries.
