Wine “Villa Fura” Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, 2016

“Villa Fura” Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore – semi-dry red wine with a generous, clean, bright aroma and rich, full-bodied taste, with an excellent value for money. The wine is made from the traditional Valpolicella grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella and Korvinone. Valpolicella “Ripasso” is considered the “younger brother” of wine Amarone. It consists of the same grape varieties, and in the production of Valpolicella “Ripasso”, secondary fermentation is used on the cake left over from the manufacture of Amarone. Thus, the wine becomes much more voluminous and fruity and becomes shades of Amarone. Maturation of the drink for six months takes place in oak barriques.
