Wine Villa Sofia, Riesling, 2023

Villa Sofia, Riesling a seductive wine made from 100% Riesling grapes grown in the lower reaches of the Volga, in the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain. The grapes are harvested by hand when they reach optimum ripeness, then cooled to 46 C, carefully selected by hand, softly crushed and pressed on a membrane press. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature of 1216 C. The wine is then aged on fine lees with batonnage twice a week for a month, which gives the drink additional texture and depth.

At the All-Russian exhibition VINORUS 2024, the dry white wine Riesling 2023 from the Villa Sofia winery was awarded a silver medal , confirming the high level of quality and professional recognition.
